Technical Consultant

As part of our strategy of offering the best integrated solutions for the market, AIT has an exciting new position in our Technical Services team.

Based at our Leeds office we are seeking a Technical Support Consultant to join our 1st & 2nd line support team.

This role would suit a support technician or recent graduate with some experience in supporting bespoke software and who enjoys delivering fantastic customer service.

Main responsibilities include:

  • 1st & 2nd level technical support (external and internal customers)
  • Site visits & remote installations
  • Delivering training and technical updates/webinars
  • Product testing & management
  • Pre-sales consultancy

If you have:

Proven competency & experience in 1st & 2nd line support for Microsoft based applications and knowledge of:

  • All general Microsoft applications
  • Microsoft SQL databases
  • Understanding of operating systems and network technologies e.g. Active directory, DNS and DHCP
  • Project management
  • Software and development testing protocols

If you are:

Educated to degree level in computing/IT/networking subjects or equivalent, or have professional Microsoft experience or other training qualifications. Motivated, analytical, tenacious and flexible, with your own transport to travel to customer sites in the UK.
